Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in NJP/Bagdogra – Transfer to Darjeeling
Upon arrival at NJP railway station or Bagdogra airport, our representative will assist you with the transfer to Darjeeling. Check-in at the hotel and relax. Evening at leisure to explore the local market. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning visit to Tiger Hill to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. On the way back, visit Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. After breakfast, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, and the Tibetan Refugee Centre. Enjoy a panoramic view of the tea gardens. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 3: Darjeeling to Gangtok
After breakfast, check out and drive to Gangtok (approx. 4-5 hours). On arrival, check in at the hotel. The evening is free to explore MG Road, the city's popular shopping and food hub. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 4: Gangtok Sightseeing
After breakfast, go for a full-day sightseeing tour. Visit Tashi Viewpoint, Ganesh Tok, Enchey Monastery, Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Flower Exhibition Center, and Ropeway. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 5: Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion
Enjoy a day excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Harbhajan Mandir (located at 12,000 ft). Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, Tsomgo Lake remains frozen during winters and is considered sacred. Return to Gangtok and relax. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 6: Departure
After breakfast, check out and transfer to NJP railway station or Bagdogra airport for your onward journey.
